I love side shooter but this one is just insane on how difficult. If you want a challenge its the game for you... Hard, and just feels bad, and boring. Older style games like this aren't that interesting however I would suggest trying it out to see if you like it.. EDIT: The price has been lowered to a more understandable £5.99 and I would now recommend it.Fun side-scroller arcade game, you can probably tell by the screenshots and the videos what the gameplay is like.You have ships which can be upgraded with more guns, shields etc.I got it in a humble bundle but it's not worth the £10 asking price IMO.PS: I'ts really cool if the devs to listen to the reviews!. Just because a game is not bad doesn't mean that it's good. The game has no sound controls and no way to remap the keys. The gameplay is the same as in any Shoot Em Up game,. It's so sad to see how bloody unplayable this game is. It has a money/upgrade system that could make this game really good, and is something I don't normally see in these sorts of games. But sloppy controlls that jump to far with only a tap. Weapons that you can't tell weather or not they are any good. And upon struggling just to get past the first planet, I get to the second one, and it has these rubbish timed sliding walls that INSTANT KILL YOU, no matter your health, and yet I can litterly rub my ship on any other structure without harm. WHAT!? Nope. Done. Better luck next time.. Becomes annoying after dying the Nth time and having to start over again. No way of setting the difficulty. Not fun.. Love this game!! I recommend picking it up and, play if you like. old style arcade games. never beat it... got board after a few hours but still pretty fun.
